Back to Basics — Cricut Love!
ok, I admit it, I’ve been away… way too long! I have vowed to get back into scrapbooking, so naturally I’m trying to get a little inspiration and a lot of ideas by scouring the net for ideas. I thought I would start slowly, making a few cards this weekend. I found this adorable card and I loved the simplicity and the fun little googly eyes!! Plus it will be perfect for my nephew’s upcoming birthday, perfect timing.
The monkey is from the Cricut George Cartridge. You can find this card and instructions to make it from the original creator here
Thanksgiving Card
OH THE CUTENESS!!
This adorable Thanksgiving card was made by Lisa of Lisa’s Handmade Cards. It is on her blog here along with many other super cute cards! She doesn’t give any detail but I don’t recognize this shape from any Cricut cartridges. If I am wrong someone please let me know because I would love to copy this card!
Cricut Thanksgiving Titles
The candles are blown out, the jackolanterns are in the trash, the remaining candy is squirreled away in the cupboard, and two fairy princesses, a dinosaur and a knight are napping/coming down from a sugar high. So it must be time to think about Thanksgiving! In searching for Thanksgiving Cricut projects, I came across these Cricut Thanksgiving titles and these Thanksgiving Cricut Cards. They are not finished Cricut projects but they are cut files. I think you have to have SCAL or Design Studio to use them? It may be time for me to take the plunge and buy one of these programs to use with my Cricut Expression!!
Adorable Cricut Halloween Party Set!
I’m all about last minute Halloween projects right now — costumes, homemade goodies, pumpkins, and craft projects using my beloved Cricut! So I was thrilled to find this adorable Cricut Halloween party set on the cricut site.
This cute Cricut set was created by Beatriz Jennings for Cricut. You can see more details on their website here.
Cricut 50 States Cartridge Project
Just came across this amazing wall mural of the US Map, created using the Cricut 50 States Cartridge! What a great idea and so much more personal than buying a pre-printed map, plus you get to choose the colors so it can match the room’s decor. It would also be super cute in a classroom or daycare center. LOVE IT!!
